1) Drink plenty of water.
Looking for a simple way to improve your well-being in almost every way? Drink more water! Studies show that even minor dehydration can cause energy levels to plummet, so go for a glass of water instead of a sugary energy drink next time you find yourself dozing off. This will also shed a few inches off your waistline!

2) Get active!
Exercising for just 30 minutes a day has numerous benefits, such as increased weight loss, improved mood, etc. However, making the time for this can be difficult in today’s increasingly busy lifestyle. If you find yourself unable to set aside a time to exercise, try knocking out some push-ups during your few minutes of downtime throughout the day.

3) Cut out the booze.
The occasional beer or glass of wine can be great, but consider limiting your drinking frequency. According to Susannah Saunders, a hypnotherapist with over a decade of treating alcohol dependency, the benefits are well worth it. You will no longer deal with hangovers, your immune system will toughen up, and you may even improve your sex life!

4) Floss your teeth.
Think brushing your teeth a couple times a day is good enough? Think again! A toothbrush can’t get in those tight crevices in between teeth where bacteria lurk. Daily flossing will decrease your chances of acquiring painful gum diseases such as gingivitis. Make an effort to floss each night before bed and before you know it, flossing will become second nature!

5) Hit the sack earlier.
Though easier said than done, making sleep a priority can have a huge payout. Your waistline will thank you because more sleep leads to higher energy levels, which in turn helps maintain a healthy weight. Limit the amount of time watching TV and using other electronics before bed and you will find yourself sleeping like a baby in no time.

6) Eat more vegetables.
Not only are vegetables beneficial to your health, but contrary to popular belief, they taste great too. The USDA recommends making them a permanent part of your diet because they are chock full of essential vitamins and are shown to reduce your risk of heart disease and certain types of cancers. Adding just one portion to your meals can make a world of difference.

7) Protect your skin.
Your skin protects you, so you should do your best to protect your skin. Wearing a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 daily is your best way to defend against skin cancer. Before leaving the house, make an effort to apply sun screen to the exposed parts of your body and your skin will thank you for it.
